Dear Armenia Lacrosse Supporter:

Armenia Lacrosse is excited to share our next phase of goals and 2026 fundraising plan. We continue to serve communities in Armenia and support/develop our Armenian Lacrosse Teams for success on a National and Olympic level.

It is with great honor that Armenia Lacrosse announces the launch of our 2026 Fundraising Program to further support Friends of Armenia initiatives via a joint partnership with Friends of Armenia Lacrosse (FAL) and the Paros Foundation.
FAL generously funds lacrosse programs for girls and boys in Armenia and funds the Armenian National Men’s/Women’s Sixes Teams comprised of diaspora players, coaches and management.

When it all began

Youth Lacrosse Camps and Clinics in Armenia commenced in July of 2023 thanks to our generous donors and committed staff. Additionally, these programs have expanded to include diaspora players able to donate their time in Armenia helping mentor enrolled youths. We are on a positive path to continue our growth yearly.

Overview on Youth Programs

There are currently eight Youth Lacrosse Programs in Armenia serving 160 youth players (approximately 20 boys and girls participating per community program). Each community program is supported by two coaches. As of July 2026, Armenia Lacrosse is serving a total of 440 youth players in Armenia. The goal for the balance of 2026 is to add 14 programs serving an additional 280 youth players.

Looking ahead to 2027,  our goal is to increase participation to 30 youth lacrosse players in each community, serving a total of 660 youth players and providing 3 coaches per community program.

Overview on Lacrosse Teams

training and competing in USA and abroad. Our goal is to continue recruiting/developing players both on a National and Olympic level for competition. FAL will provide resources to support the Armenian National Men’s and Women’s Sixes Teams training camps and summer/fall tournaments, including the upcoming 2026 European Sixes in Salou, Spain.

The 2026 European Sixes Championship is the first qualifying event for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The Women’s Armenian Sixes Team will compete from 11/2 to 11/8 and the Men’s Armenian Sixes Team will compete from 11/9 to 11/18.

In closing

Team Sports serve as a powerful metaphor for life, illustrating that success is rarely achieved alone and often depends on collaboration, resilience, and adaptability.
Lacrosse continues to provide girls and boys in Armenia with the opportunity to learn and compete in a new Olympic Team Sport, while connecting with diaspora men’s/women’s National Team Players and Coaches. These role models will continue to inspire positive social change in Armenia.

We need your continued support to achieve our goals.

A heartfelt thanks to the National/Sixes Team Families and Armenian Lacrosse Families/Friends who have supported us since we founded Armenia Lacrosse in 2023. Together we are making a positive and meaningful social impact!
