“I am the true vine and my Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, he cuts away: and every branch that bears fruit, he cleans, prunes so that it may bring even more fruit. You are already clean, because of the word I have spoken to you. Abide in me and I in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it is established on the vine, likewise you cannot unless you are established on me. I am the vine, and you are the branches. The one who is established on me and I on him bears much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.”
