ARMENIA LACROSSE ADDS EIGHT CO-ED YOUTH LACROSSE PROGRAMS IN 2026
Following a successful 2025 season with youth lacrosse organizations in Aknalij, Metsamor, Vayk, Akhtala, Surenavan, Qakhtsrashen, Vanadzor and Gyumri, Armenia Lacrosse is pleased to announce eight new communities.
The roadmap for 2026 is designed to bring co-ed youth lacrosse to Nor Ughi, Janfida, Charentsavan, Deghdzut, Kajaran, Yerevan, Vahagni and COAF SMART Center in Debed. There will be a total of 16 communities playing lacrosse and plans for the Second Annual Youth Lacrosse Festival in July 2026 will be released in April.
Last year’s First Annual Youth Lacrosse Festival in Akhtala was a huge success bringing athletes together from across the country to celebrate the growth of the sport of lacrosse in Armenia. Aknalij won the Gold, Vandazor the silver and the Bronze winner was Surenavan.
