Armenia Lacrosse Identifies First Three Men’s National Team Players

Armenia Lacrosse is very excited to announce the first three players for the Armenian National Men’s SIXES team. Sevak Shahverdyan – Kaghtsrashen, Haykaz Grigoryan – Gyumri and Mushegh Gevorgyan – Nor Ughi.

Hagop Bedros, the Armenia Lacrosse Program Director is identifying top Armenian athletes who are committed to learn lacrosse and compete at the highest level of lacrosse.  “It’s a big undertaking for Sevak, Haykaz and Mushegh to start learning and playing lacrosse and we appreciate their commitment to not only learn the game and compete but also grow youth lacrosse for girls in boys in their communities,” explains Hagop. Bedros.

All three players are certified Armenia Lacrosse Introductory Level 1 Coaches and Referees and are committed to start youth lacrosse in their communities. Armenia Lacrosse is finalizing their application to be a member of World Lacrosse and once accepted will compete internationally in the European Lacrosse Federation one of the four continental federations.
