Isabel Kubikian Joins Armenia Lacrosse Women’s Program

Armenian Lacrosse Federation is pleased to announce the addition of Isabel (Ohanian) Kubikian to the Women’s Lacrosse Program.  Isabel played Division I lacrosse at Siena College for four years while majoring in political science.  She obtained a Master’s Degree from Kings College, London. 

Isabel played lacrosse in post collegiate leagues in New York City, developed a program for boys and girls, focusing on fundamentals. and coaches her daughter’s club/rec teams. She is a Board Member of Holy Cross Armenian Church of Troy, the Vice Chair of the local Armenian National Committee chapter in Albany and teaches Armenian Language classes at the St Peter Ani Altounian Armenian school. 

 

“To be involved in the Armenian Lacrosse Federation is a dream come true.  My passion for being Armenian runs deep as does my love for lacrosse so to bring both these worlds together is magical. I’m thrilled to be part of the social impact lacrosse will have on the girls in Armenia.  I’m grateful for the Founders, Board of Armenia Lacrosse and the many donors for their vision and ability to making this happen for Armenia.” 

Isabel will help organize youth lacrosse programs in Armenia as well as develop and coach the Armenian Woman’s National Teams” explains Johnny Mouradian, Armenia Lacrosse President, “we are blessed to have Isabel join Morgan Radnors to grow Armenia Lacrosse.”

Isabel lives in upstate New York with her husband, David and their children Jacqueline and Arthur “Alex”.
