“We are pleased to have two Canadian Armenian and 11 American Armenian lacrosse players from the diaspora playing on our team”, says Mher. “All of our players are currently competing in high school, college or have played college lacrosse and are the role models for the growth of youth lacrosse for girls and boys in Armenia.”

There are eight men’s teams that Armenia will have the opportunity to compete against including Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Denmark and The Netherlands.

“We are very excited to be hosting the second year of the Euro 6’s tournament in Greece. The teams have doubled this year, now including 4 women’s teams, and even larger men’s division.

We are very happy to welcome all of our first-time attendees — including Team Armenia competing in international competition for the first time. The sport is continuing to grow in the Balkans and we are happy to continue to add to the area’s rich sport history.” Explains Athony Katagas the Founder of Greek Lacrosse.
