Our Ministry

Where Sport Meets Spirit

At Armenia Lacrosse, our mission goes beyond training champions—it’s about developing character, guided by God’s word. Lacrosse is our platform, but faith is our foundation.

We take time to reflect spiritually. Our players are more than athletes—they are
followers in Christ, committed to living lives of purpose and as role models.

Faith On the Field: Algarve Bible Study – KHACKAR /STUDIOS

In March 2025, during a tournament in Algarve, Portugal, the Armenia Lacrosse team gathered not just for competition, but for a powerful four-day Bible study series designed by KHACHKAR STUDIOS. Sessions focused on Scripture, prayer, and honest conversations, connecting biblical principles with real-life challenges faced by players and coaches on and off the lacrosse field.

Each Bible Study session centered on a powerful biblical theme, accompanied by focused prayers and personal reflections.

Day 1 – The Gifts We Are Given

Theme: “To whom much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:48)

We reflected on the Parable of the Talents, recognizing that our time, skills, and opportunities are gifts from God. As athletes, we are called to maximize these blessings not for personal glory, but in service to others and in honor of our Creator.

💭 Key Reflection:

Are we being faithful stewards of the talents God has given us?

🙏 Daily Prayer:
We asked for the wisdom to use our talents to uplift others and bring glory to God, both on and off the field.

Day 2 – The Heart of a Neighbor

Theme: “Go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37)

On this day, we explored the Parable of the Good Samaritan, discussing how compassion is the mark of true faith. In lacrosse, this translates to caring for teammates, respecting opponents, and showing grace under pressure.

💭 Key Reflection:

Do we only love those who love us back—or do we live with radical compassion?

🙏 Daily Prayer:
We prayed to see others through God’s eyes and to act with kindness and courage in every situation.

Day 3 – The Call to Righteousness

Theme: “You are the salt of the earth… the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:13-14)

Guided by the Sermon on the Mount, we studied Jesus’ radical message on loving enemies, avoiding hypocrisy, and living with integrity. This day was a challenge to walk differently—to rise above the standards of the world.

💭 Key Reflection:

How can we reflect the Kingdom of God in our daily habits and team culture?

🙏 Daily Prayer:
We asked for strength to stand firm in our values and to respond to challenges with love, not vengeance.

Day 4 – Living It Out

Theme: “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)

The final session covered the Apostle Paul’s powerful call to Christian living. We explored how true faith is shown in humility, service, perseverance, and moral clarity. The Bible isn’t just for Sunday mornings—it’s a daily blueprint.

💭 Key Reflection:

What does it look like to be a man of faith in today’s world?

🙏 Daily Prayer:
We prayed for boldness to live transformed lives and be ambassadors for Christ in all we do.

Lacrosse as a Ministry

Our approach to the sport is deeply intentional. Every drill, every game, and every conversation is a chance to grow as a team and as believers. We aim to model:

  • Brotherhood/Sisterhood: A team united in faith, loyalty, and purpose.

  • Discipline: Living with focus and integrity, honoring God in our preparation.

  • Humility: Competing fiercely but never arrogantly.

  • Service: Supporting each other, our communities, and those in need.

A Legacy of Faith

Armenian Lacrosse is more than a sports organization—it’s a mission transforming lives through faith, culture, and leadership. Our faith binds us. It grounds us. And it pushes us to be better every single day.

We carry the Armenian flag with pride, and the cross of Christ with reverence.
